Indo-Canadian Club celebrated Republic Day in the past years and hosted cultural programs and shared delicious meals in Milton as a community however, due to Covid-19, we are not able to organize the event this year.

Indo-Canadian Club wishes all the Indians a very Happy Republic Day. Republic Day is commemorated every year on January 26 to celebrate the Indian Constitution. Indians around the world honour this day with great pride each year. India is celebrating its 72nd Republic day this year.This day can't end without recalling and respecting our saints who forfeited their lives to guard the country.

We are hopeful that we will be able to hold more community events once the terror of Covid-19 has subsided. Ontario is currently under the stay-at-home order and all the malls, restaurants, and cinemas are closed for business.

Indian Republic Day is celebrated across India in schools, offices, and popular landmarks, and the Tri-coloured Indian flag is hoisted on the Government building with pride and enthusiasm. Republic Day Parade (RD Parade) is organized every year in Delhi in front of parliament hill. At Rajpath, in Delhi, wonderful processions by regiments of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, police, and paramilitary powers are seen. India's protection ability is in plain view as well, with the most recent rockets, airplane, and weapon frameworks.
